Franke names BCG 'Distributor of the Year 2009'
The World's largest sink manufacturer, Franke, has awarded BCG the title of 'Distributor of the Year 2009' in recognition of the outstanding achievements made by BCG throughout 2009.
WHADDON, ENGLAND, March 31, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The World's largest sink manufacturer, Franke, has awarded BCG the title of 'Distributor of the Year 2009' in recognition of the outstanding achievements made by BCG throughout 2009.
When presenting this award, David Houghton, Commercial Director for Franke commented: "This award is in recognition of the focus, commitment and the overall hard work put in by the whole BCG team. In today's very competitive market, distributors need to be able to provide the customer with short lead times, excellent customer service and outstanding value. BCG has demonstrated their ability to provide all three."
Chris Honer, BCG's Managing Director, who accepted the award on behalf of the company said: "We are delighted to be recognised for such a prestigious award. We have worked closely with Franke for a number of years now and this is testament to our continued commitment, not only to our customers, but to our suppliers as well." He added, "We strive to exceed our customer's expectations and aim to provide, in every case, outstanding service. We currently have a stock holding of over GBP10 million, and believe that our customers should not only receive a superb service, but have instant access to the industry's leading brands and products at a price that represents BCG as value for money."
Franke is the world's leading provider of intelligent systems for domestic kitchens, trusted by more users in more kitchens worldwide, than any other manufacturer. It first awarded 'Distributor of the Year' back in 1979 and aims to recognise the distributors of the industry for any outstanding contributions that they make.
In 2009, BCG not only continued to work on improving their customer service, but also increased their stock holding in what was seen as a financially difficult year, affording customers more choice and instant availability. They hosted their third Big Tour Exhibition in five locations around the UK, at which they launched the 'Airmiles' incentive scheme and they introduced a new stock availability management system, known as 'SAM'.
"2009 was an exceptionally busy year for us," continued Chris Honer, "but we kept our heads down and focused on making BCG easier to do business with and far more customer focused. I believe we've achieved this and I'm sure that 2010 will see us build on the good foundations we have laid, enabling us to continue providing the premium service both our customers and suppliers have come to expect."
